What does it mean to be vulnerable?

Stripped of all armor I walk naked to the street.
Fully permeable.

Pliable.
Like a dollop of paint in want of a brush.
Like soup in want of a spoon.

If you swallow me whole, you may spit me out.
If I tumble into light, will I find my entirety,
Or will I discover my downfall?

And if you swallow me whole, you may shit me out.
I become your body's burden; with my expulsion you experience great release.

The difference between swallowing and tasting. Taste to tease; swallow to please? Or displease.

Trying to taste exactly as you wish,
I though I could be anything for you,

But found myself in your swollen gut
And knew I was not light

Your pallet overwhelmed,
And escaping my full-bodied flavor,
You lose yourself in air filled Crudités,
Looking for substance on a menu of lighter fare

Always searching,
probing for a feeling.
My gypsy child

A stunted paint brush
in want of the dyes
with which to color your world.

Potent and powerful,
colorful yet unitile
I wait,
I crave the cradle of your brush.
